Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sabugo's Miguel Macedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ricardo Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. Adais's Daniel Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Macedo in the 5th minute of play. Miguel Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sabugo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jorge Faro hit a great ball. Marco Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Mendes in the 11th minute of the match. Adais's Daniel Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Macedo in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Adais's goalkeeper Daniel Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Macedo. In the 22nd minute, one of Adais:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Adais. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Sabugo's Jorge Delgado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Daniel Teixeira. If Ricardo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Macedo in the 44th minute of play. Sabugo's Marco Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Figueiredo in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
60 minutes into the game, Carlos Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabugo the free kick. After 63 played minutes Adais got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Fonseca. When Miguel Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sabugo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Macedo couldn't finish the play. Sabugo's Marco Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Sabugo from getting a goal against them. Óscar Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Machado having to interfere. Marco Machado made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ricardo Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Figueiredo got free with Marco Machado in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sabugo's Jorge Faro got a free kick in the 80th minute. Óscar Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Machado having to interfere. Adais's Daniel Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Pacheco in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Óscar Mendes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Machado, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Adais eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
