SC Remedios's Henrique Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Viegas in the 7th minute of play. Adolfo Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, SC Remedios's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Viegas came free, but Henrique Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pousas FC's Adolfo Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bessa in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pousas FC! Ricardo Bessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Freitas having to make a save. Ricardo Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Remedios's goalkeeper Henrique Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Paulo Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Pousas FC's Paulo Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Gomes during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pousas FC's Adolfo Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Pousas FC from getting a goal against them. Diogo Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Henrique Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gomes in the 41st minute of the match. Pousas FC's Adolfo Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Pousas FC from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Bessa made a kick off. If Diogo Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Viegas got free with Henrique Vaz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Vaz made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Diogo Viegas sent off a good shot on target. After 64 played minutes SC Remedios got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Monteiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Gomes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrique Vaz. That made the score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. Cristóvão Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Freitas having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Paulo Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Diogo Viegas from a close distance when the talented Henrique Vaz managed to make a qualified save. SC Remedios's players were relieved. Cristóvão Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Freitas having to interfere. Luís Borges scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Freitas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristóvão Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. SC Remedios's Luís Borges pulled a muscle in his back after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pousas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
