Adolfo Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Pacheco in the 5th minute of the match. Pousas FC's Adolfo Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Pacheco in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Tomás Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Macedo in the 8th minute of play forced Pousas FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Sabugo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pousas FC:s goal. Sabugo:s Marco Machado showed great skill when he stopped Oliveira Mendes:s penalty. Ricardo Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Freitas having to interfere. Adolfo Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Macedo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Tomás Leão hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Marco Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gomes in the 24th minute of the match. Pousas FC's Adolfo Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Macedo in the 25th minute of play. Ricardo Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Adolfo Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabugo. In the 30th minute, Diogo Viegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Sabugo's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Gomes came free, but Marco Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sabugo booed when Pousas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Miguel Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sabugo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Macedo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Macedo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40thth minute of the game Paulo Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabugo's Marco Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Paulo Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pousas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gonçalo Coimbra hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sabugo booed when Pousas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pousas FC's Carlos Vieira got a free kick in the 65th minute. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pousas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Delgado was slow to take the kick. During this time Sabugo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Delgado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adolfo Freitas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Ricardo Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sabugo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Pacheco couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Freitas made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ricardo Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Pedro Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Miguel Macedo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Freitas. Henrique Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Sabugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Oliveira Mendes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sabugo's Marco Machado didn't even have to move. In the 90th minute, Sabugo's Ricardo Pacheco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sabugo's zone, Diogo Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Machado came out of the goal and Diogo Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabugo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
