Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albertino Marques kicked off to start the match. Vacarica FC's Gil Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vacarica FC's Albertino Marques in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Negroes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Albertino Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertino Marques in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carlos Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Negroes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Antunes couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, Vacarica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Joaquim Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, one of Vacarica FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vacarica FC. Viriato Baptista placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Albertino Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Júlio Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Carlos Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Carlos Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Anjos in the 35th minute of the match. Joaquim Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Vacarica FC's Carlos Esteves got control of the ball when Carlos Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Carlos Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vacarica FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Heitor Martins hit a great ball. Carlos Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Anjos was the one to do the kick off. Gil Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Cabral having to interfere. In the 64thth minute of the game Albertino Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Negroes FC's Júlio Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Anjos in the 70th minute of play forced Vacarica FC's goalkeeper Carlos Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Esteves having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Joaquim Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Albertino Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vacarica FC's Carlos Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Antunes in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Negroes FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vasco Mendes hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Vacarica FC's Albertino Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 96 played minutes Vacarica FC got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Martins. Carlos Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Antunes's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Negroes FC were the better team. Negroes FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
