After 11 minutes of play, Teixogueira FC's Fernando Miranda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandro Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Fernando Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Pires having to interfere. Rodrigo Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Assis in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, Teixogueira FC's Fernando Miranda made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gonçalo Lisboa fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penuzinhos FC's protests and gave Gonçalo Lisboa a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Penuzinhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Lisboa. 28 minutes into the match, Penuzinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Miranda came free, but Rodrigo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Penuzinhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Lisboa. Gil Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penuzinhos FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Fernando Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Pires. Penuzinhos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Setúbal in the 63rd minute of play forced Teixogueira FC's goalkeeper David Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Penuzinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Fernando Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Teixogueira FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Teixogueira FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
