Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amadeu Gomes made the kick off which started today's match. Henrique Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Henrique Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Filipe Nascimento fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Abel Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Moura made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Filipe Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. João Moura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abel Leal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. João Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Abel Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Moura. Abel Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 32 minutes, Américo Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vessadas and the Ponte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Américo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. José Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Gomes in the 41st minute of play. If Henrique Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Henrique Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Gomes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Henrique Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Rocha having to interfere. José Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Gomes in the 66th minute of play. João Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Américo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. José Rocha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abel Amaral. If Filipe Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Moura having to interfere. When Filipe Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponte FC's protests and gave Filipe Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Ponte FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Nascimento. Henrique Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Henrique Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. José Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ponte FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vessadas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
