Gustavo Nascimento started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Alandroal FC's Paulo Silva got control of the ball when Américo Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cândido Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Silva having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Gustavo Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alandroal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Alandroal FC booed when Ameijoeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Vieira in the 30th minute of play forced Alandroal FC's goalkeeper Paulo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Silva made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Américo Soares sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ameijoeira FC's Óscar Bessa pulled a muscle in his back after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 78th minute, João Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alandroal FC's Ricardo Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Neves hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Américo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Silva having to interfere. Ameijoeira FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
