Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Paredes kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Augusto Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Cumeira's Diogo Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Silva in the 22nd minute of play. Manuel Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, SC Cumeira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Augusto Neto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 35 played minutes SC Cumeira got a freekick which was hit by Luís Amaral. The supporters of SC Cumeira booed when Ameijoeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Armando Silva made the kick off in the second half. If Rafael Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Bessa made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Rafael Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Bessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Bernardo Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Rafael Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Cunha having to interfere. If Alfredo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ameijoeira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
