An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Ferro in the 5th minute of play forced SC Pincho's goalkeeper Júlio Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vidigal FC booed when SC Pincho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rui Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Vidigal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Manuel Viegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Trindade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nuno Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Viegas in the 17th minute of play. Nuno Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Pincho's Júlio Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Ferro in the 23rd minute of play. Eduardo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Cardoso having to interfere. Júlio Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Ferro in the 27th minute of the match. The Vidigal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Trindade should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Eduardo Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Manuel Viegas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Vidigal FC's Nuno Trindade. Nuno Trindade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, one of Vidigal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vidigal FC. The SC Pincho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
