Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heitor Brito started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, José Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espairo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th minute, Hugo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Jaime Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Galamares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Coelho in the 10th minute of play forced Espairo FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espairo FC's Jaime Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Galamares's zone, José Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílcar Pires came out of the goal and José Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Gaspar Viegas from a close distance when the talented Amílcar Pires managed to make a qualified save. Galamares's players were relieved. In the 23rd minute, Jaime Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Galamares booed when Espairo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Martins succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 29th playminute. Alexandre Moniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Coelho went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Galamares's Amílcar Pires got control of the ball when José Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Ferro made a kick off. José Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Amílcar Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galamares's Amílcar Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Martins in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Espairo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Morais to maneuver through the defense. Amílcar Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Pedro Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espairo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galamares the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Brito in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Moniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Ramos's late challenge caught a Espairo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Jorge Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Espairo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Brito came free, but Alexandre Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Heitor Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
