In the 7th minute Alfredo Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Sardoura booed when Roussada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ricardo Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfredo Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Roussada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Coimbra couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Roussada's goalkeeper José Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basílio Cardoso. Alfredo Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ricardo Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Roussada fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Roussada's Alfredo Coimbra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Basílio Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but José Nogueira made a huge save. Alfredo Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SC Sardoura players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roussada were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonso Gonçalves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Ricardo Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Roussada defense, Ricardo Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Nogueira. The Roussada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Basílio Cardoso scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Nogueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basílio Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Nogueira having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Roussada's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Veiga came free, but José Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Sardoura getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eduardo Vale hit a great ball. SC Sardoura's Ricardo Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Coimbra in the 70th minute of play. José Nogueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a little luck, SC Sardoura's Ricardo Vale got control of the ball when Afonso Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Cardoso in the 90th minute of the match. Afonso Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ricardo Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
