With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Gomes in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Setúbal saved SC Moes from getting behind. Adelino Fontes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Tiago Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Cruz's late challenge caught a Carapetosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes SC Moes got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Cruz. Afonso Setúbal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiago Gomes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Dantas made a kick off. After 57 played minutes, SC Moes's Augusto Figueiredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bento Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Moes reached it. Bento Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Dantas in the 59th minute of the match. Afonso Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Manuel Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carapetosa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Moes the free kick. If Gabriel Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Setúbal having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Tiago Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Setúbal. SC Moes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Tiago Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
