Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vítor Cunha made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Ramos in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Henriques saved SC Balde from getting behind. Basílio Alves hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Gil Campos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Henriques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Cunha in the 13th minute of play forced SC Balde's goalkeeper Sérgio Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sérgio Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Balde getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. André Gomes hit a great ball. Vítor Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Balde's Sérgio Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Cunha in the 24th minute of play. Emanuel Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Cabriteira's goalkeeper Carlos Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Mendes. With his leg Carlos Barbosa managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when SC Balde's David Mendes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexandre Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When David Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the SC Balde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Mendes couldn't finish the play. Sérgio Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Cunha in the 45th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vítor Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Henriques was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Veiga was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes SC Balde got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Esteves. 53 minutes into the game, Cabriteira's Alexandre Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Henriques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. David Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Bernardo Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabriteira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Balde the free kick. Bernardo Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Carlos Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Mendes in the 65th minute of the match. Bernardo Alves got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th match minute, Cabriteira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Alves to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Balde's Pedro Nunes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Vítor Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cabriteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Cunha couldn't finish the play. Sérgio Henriques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Ramos in the 77th minute. Daniel Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cabriteira booed when SC Balde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Veiga took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Barbosa. Carlos Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 95th minute, David Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
