Henrique Leiria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. David Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Bento Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Balde. In the 14th minute SC Adaval were awarded a corner. Alexandre Correia went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th minute of the match SC Adaval got a corner. SC Balde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexandre Correia ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SC Adaval's corner Alexandre Correia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio Henriques quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Amaral in the 20th minute of play forced SC Balde's goalkeeper Sérgio Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Jorge Neves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Balde's Sérgio Henriques. Sérgio Henriques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 28 minutes, Daniel Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Balde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sérgio Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Leiria in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to SC Adaval getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Afonso Amaral hit a great ball. When %teams%'s Daniel Veiga was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 47 minutes into the game. Bento Branco was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the match, SC Balde's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Amaral came free, but Sérgio Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Afonso Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Henriques having to interfere. Daniel Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bento Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SC Balde's Daniel Veiga in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Adaval's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandre Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Balde booed when SC Adaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Balde's Sérgio Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Amaral in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Amaral in the 87th minute of play forced SC Balde's goalkeeper Sérgio Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Branco having to interfere. Henrique Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sérgio Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Adaval players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Balde from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
