Daniel Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Albertino Pereira made a huge save. Afonso Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jorge Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertino Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. António Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Abragao FC's Jorge Lopes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. SC Carregueira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Bessa in the 45th minute. After taking down the ball on SC Carregueira's corner Pedro Bessa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and António Almeida quite easily take care of the ball.

The wind increased when Jorge Lopes made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Carregueira's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Costa came free, but Albertino Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Veiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of António Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Pinheiro during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Abragao FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Pinheiro. SC Carregueira's Afonso Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jorge Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abragao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Carregueira's José Paredes got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alfredo Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carregueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfredo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. António Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abragao FC had won after a very even match.
