When Luís Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bordinheira's protests and gave Luís Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. When SC Corados's David Ferreira in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Bordinheira's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes SC Corados got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Amaral. Viriato Sousa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raul Veiga. In the 16th minute, David Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rui Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Ferreira in the 20th minute of the match. If Vítor Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Bordinheira's Alfredo Assis got a free kick in the 25th minute. After recieving a nice pass, SC Corados's Pedro Borges tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Luís Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bordinheira's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viriato Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, SC Bordinheira's Carlos Neto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Viriato Sousa. Viriato Sousa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Neto in the 44th minute of play forced SC Corados's goalkeeper Viriato Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Neto struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Viriato Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bordinheira.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Neto made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Neto in the 53rd minute of play forced SC Corados's goalkeeper Viriato Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Sousa having to interfere. The supporters of SC Bordinheira booed when SC Corados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlos Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Gonçalves in the 78th minute. Inácio Paiva's late challenge caught a SC Corados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Bordinheira getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Inácio Paiva hit a great ball. If Luís Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Corados players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Bordinheira from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
