Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Lúcio Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the SC Pousios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Paiva couldn't finish the play. António Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Jorge Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Tiago Faro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ervins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tiago Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. António Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Esteves hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Alexandre Abreu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ervins's Armindo Teixeira didn't even have to move. In the 17th minute, Jaime Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Pousios's Lúcio Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiago Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Morais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Baptista having to make a save. António Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Tiago Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Afonso Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pousios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Teixeira having to interfere. Tiago Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Tiago Faro might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Baptista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Faro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Morais struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. António Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ervins. The supporters of SC Pousios booed when Ervins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, SC Pousios's Afonso Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Ervins's Armindo Teixeira got control of the ball when Afonso Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Abreu was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Pousios's players had a chance to rest. Ervins's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
