Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Tiago Faro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Esteves. Tiago Faro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Paulo Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Faro's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. SC Areoza's Paulo Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Faro in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Faro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Esteves saved SC Areoza from getting behind. In the 15th minute Paulo Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Trindade in the 18th minute of play. Armindo Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cláudio Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Armindo Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Teixeira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Areoza's Abel Amorim got a free kick in the 45th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Areoza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Guarda was slow to take the kick. During this time Ervins's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Guarda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Esteves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
After 54 played minutes Ervins got a freekick which was hit by João Machado. Paulo Amaral struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Armindo Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Areoza. If Cláudio Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Paulo Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Teixeira was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Tiago Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Tiago Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Paulo Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Teixeira was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ervins fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Areoza had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
