The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Cumiada's Afonso Amaral got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 30th minute, Heitor Carneiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Cumiada's David Marques didn't even have to move. David Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Borba charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The wind increased when Joaquim Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Borba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Paredes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Joaquim Monteiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Marques having to make a save. If Rui Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, SC Cumiada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Paiva to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Joaquim Monteiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If David Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Cumiada's David Faro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Bernardo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Marques having to interfere. David Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 87 minutes of play SC Cumiada's Fernando Borba was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th minute, Fernando Borba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If David Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Brunheira players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Cumiada from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
