After having played for 30 minutes, Alfredo Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serradade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Macedo in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rui Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brunheira's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Henriques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Neves made a kick off. With a little luck, Brunheira's Simão Paredes got control of the ball when Alfredo Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Rui Henriques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. António Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rui Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. In the 78th match minute, Brunheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Rui Henriques, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rui Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Henriques in the 89th minute of play. Brunheira's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
