The Argea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Fonseca should have stopped the shot. When David Alves fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argea's protests and gave David Alves a yellow card for diving instead. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vítor Marques's late challenge caught a Moura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moura were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
