Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filipe Sousa started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, SC Gulpilhares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Viana to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Afonso Nunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rui Leal, 1-0. Lourenço Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the game, Filipe Bessa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Gulpilhares the free kick. After 19 played minutes, SC Gulpilhares's Ricardo Domingues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rui Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Gulpilhares reached it. Joaquim Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Leal made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Joaquim Santos sent off a good shot on target. SC Gulpilhares's Joaquim Santos came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately Rui Leal had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 32 played minutes Moura got a freekick which was hit by Simão Moreira. With a little luck, Moura's Rui Leal got control of the ball when Joaquim Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Ricardo Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Afonso Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Afonso Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gulpilhares's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Nunes was the one to do the kick off. SC Gulpilhares's Óscar Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Santos in the 58th minute of play. Américo Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Valente made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rodrigo Dias sent off a good shot on target. Rui Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Nunes in the 64th minute of play. Joaquim Santos struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rui Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gulpilhares. Óscar Viana's late challenge caught a Moura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Óscar Viana helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes SC Gulpilhares got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Viana. 81 minutes into the match, SC Gulpilhares's goalkeeper Américo Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Dias. 90 minutes into the match, Moura's Filipe Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Américo Valente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Afonso Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Santos struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rui Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gulpilhares.
