Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Filipe Borges made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to SC Mancos getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Manuel Luz hit a great ball. Pateo's Viriato Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Eusébio Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pateo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 13 minutes, Eusébio Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pateo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Pateo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Almeida came free, but Ricardo Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Fernando Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 24 minutes of play, SC Mancos's Filipe Borges made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipe Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Pateo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Almeida came free, but Ricardo Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, Pateo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Amaral to maneuver through the defense. SC Mancos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristóvão Maia in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
In the 51st minute, Paulo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Melo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Mancos's Fernando Almeida. But to his dismay, Fernando Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Pinho in the 56th minute of play forced SC Mancos's goalkeeper João Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pateo's Paulo Amaral got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Filipe Borges came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SC Mancos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Borges couldn't finish the play. Fernando Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ricardo Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Magalhães having to interfere. Eusébio Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Reis in the 84th minute of play forced SC Mancos's goalkeeper João Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Mancos's João Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Pinho in the 94th minute of play. If Viriato Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Mancos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
