After a long run with the ball, Vasco Borges did a trick in the 8th minute in front of Campanha FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-1. An impressive performance by Pateo's Vasco Borges! After 12 played minutes Campanha FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Pinto. Viriato Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Viriato Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viriato Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Mota hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Pateo's Ricardo Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Fonseca in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, José Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Dias hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If José Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 60th minute, David Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campanha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ricardo Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Pateo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
