Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Aguiar took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Trancoso's goal looked a bit too open when João Aguiar came free, but Alexandre Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Antunes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Paredes during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Luís Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Aguiar in the 20th minute of play forced Trancoso's goalkeeper Alexandre Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diamantino Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Luís Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Diamantino Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trancoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, SC Tabaco's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Leiria came free, but Luís Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Veiga got free with Luís Faria in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nuno Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Augusto Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Tabaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Faria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Aguiar during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Diamantino Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If João Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Aguiar in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Antunes saved Trancoso from getting behind. A collision led to Trancoso getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gonçalo Araújo hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
