After recieving a nice pass, SC Regueira's Afonso Ramos tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gabriel Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, SC Regueira's Afonso Miranda threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Leão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Gustavo Esteves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Leão. SC Regueira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lourenço Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Campos in the 29th minute of play forced SC Regueira's goalkeeper Joaquim Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Leão having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Afonso Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Regueira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ribacais the free kick. Ribacais's Rui Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lourenço Campos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonso Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Gonçalves in the 53rd minute of the match. Joaquim Leão made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Rui Freitas sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the game, Daniel Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ribacais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Regueira the free kick. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ribacais! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for SC Regueira. Afonso Ramos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso Miranda. 1-0. Lourenço Campos struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Joaquim Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribacais. 90 minutes into the match, Ribacais's Rui Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ribacais's goalkeeper Afonso Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ribacais getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vasco Silva hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Carlos Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Regueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 98 minutes, Daniel Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Regueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
