Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nuno Santarém made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 played minutes Ovoa got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Castro. In the 9th minute Gabriel Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Campos's late challenge caught a Fregim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Campos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fregim FC booed when Ovoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cândido Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Miguel Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fregim FC's Cândido Borba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Nuno Santarém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Fregim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Pires came free, but Cândido Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manuel Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Sandro Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fregim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ovoa the free kick. After 26 played minutes Fregim FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Cardoso. In the 27th minute of the match Ricardo Leão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cândido Borba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nuno Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Borba having to interfere. If Miguel Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fregim FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sandro Cardoso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Nuno Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovoa's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Santarém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Borba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cândido Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ricardo Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Sandro Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Ovoa's goalkeeper Ricardo Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Henriques. Gabriel Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Borges to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Fregim FC's Gabriel Borges made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fregim FC's goalkeeper Cândido Borba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cândido Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Santarém in the 60th minute of play. Nuno Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cândido Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovoa's Nuno Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Fregim FC's goalkeeper Cândido Borba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Pires. If Nuno Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Henriques in the 86th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fregim FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ovoa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
