In the 10th minute Oliveira Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afonso Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Júlio Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Luz in the 19th minute of play. Afonso Vale hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Francisco Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Tinocos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Paiva to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that David Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Ramos was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Júlio Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rodrigues in the 24th minute of the match. Candal FC's Joaquim Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Carneiro in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Francisco Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, David Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rodrigo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Luz in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Ramos saved Tinocos FC from getting behind. The Tinocos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Candal FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Oliveira Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Júlio Ramos made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when David Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. David Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Ramos having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves David Rodrigues could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Júlio Ramos however easily saved by the left post. In the 63rdth minute of the game Oliveira Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candal FC's Joaquim Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Candal FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vítor Queirós hit a great ball. Rui Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Francisco Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Afonso Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candal FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
