Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Molaredo FC's Carlos Vaz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, one of Carvicais:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Molaredo FC a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bruno Pinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carvicais's Daniel Pinho. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Miguel Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Carvicais's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Vaz came free, but Daniel Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Afonso Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molaredo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Marco Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Brás in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Diogo Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Carvicais's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Pereira came free, but Daniel Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Diogo Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvicais and the Molaredo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Diogo Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Carvicais got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Guerreiro. After having played for 33 minutes, Carlos Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molaredo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Pereira in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Carvicais booed when Molaredo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Carvicais players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Molaredo FC were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Brás was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Carlos Vaz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Afonso Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nuno Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carvicais's protests and gave Nuno Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Nuno Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Daniel Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Carvicais's João Brás made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Amílcar Faria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carvicais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Marco Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Brás in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carvicais fans cheered their team off the field, for while Molaredo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
