When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Almeida made a kick off. Tiago Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of SC Moitinhos booed when SC Garganta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, João Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Almeida in the 85th minute of play forced SC Moitinhos's goalkeeper António Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
