Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Nunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaime Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Jaime Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes Sangalhos got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Mota. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Alves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Erra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sangalhos:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jaime Amorim, was totally fooled by Sangalhos's Rui Cruz, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 25th minute, Joaquim Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes, Joaquim Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erra and the Sangalhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquim Pedroso hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rui Cruz, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 30th minute, Sangalhos's Joaquim Alves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. A collision led to Sangalhos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bento Delgado hit a great ball. Erra's Augusto Macedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sangalhos. Humberto Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Erra's zone, Joaquim Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Amorim came out of the goal and Joaquim Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vítor Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erra's protests and gave Vítor Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Erra's Vítor Esteves got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Alves to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Marco Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erra's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Sangalhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Delgado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Mota in the 64th minute of play forced Erra's goalkeeper Jaime Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Erra's Duarte Leão threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marco Nunes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 76 played minutes Erra got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Macedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Nunes in the 81st minute of play forced Sangalhos's goalkeeper Duarte Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sangalhos's Humberto Mota in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erra's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute Joaquim Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Cruz's late challenge caught a Erra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. Cláudio Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sangalhos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Erra had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
