Alpedrinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Basílio Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Moreira in the 25th minute of the match. Afonso Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Morais having to interfere. The supporters of Alpedrinha booed when Fornalha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alexandre Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Alpedrinha's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Moreira came free, but Basílio Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Morais came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Fornalha FC's Afonso Moreira. But to his dismay, Afonso Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Júlio Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basílio Morais. Alpedrinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Afonso Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Basílio Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Vítor Guarda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basílio Morais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Nuno Simões was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alpedrinha! Basílio Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Moreira in the 80th minute of the match. When Vítor Guarda came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Fornalha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Guarda couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Miranda in the 83rd minute of play forced Fornalha FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Pacheco hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. David Jesus shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Rui Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th play minute Vítor Guarda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Basílio Morais. 0-6. Afonso Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Joaquim Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
