Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Aguieira FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Manuel Ribeiro hit a great ball. Humberto Faro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delfim Paiva having to make a save. SC Pedrome's João Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Reis in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, one of SC Pedrome:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Pedrome. The referee gave Aguieira FC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Humberto Vieira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Pedrome's João Garcia. 0-1. Humberto Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Pedrome's Humberto Faro got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Pedrome's Eusébio Freitas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Marco Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Garcia having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Humberto Faro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Humberto Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Delfim Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Matias during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes SC Pedrome got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Matias. Humberto Vieira, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Delfim Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Delgado's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Reis in the 61st minute of play forced SC Pedrome's goalkeeper João Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Marco Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguieira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. João Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Humberto Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pedrome's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguieira FC the free kick. Jorge Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Garcia having to interfere. Eusébio Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute, Carlos Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
