Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alexandre Pires took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Alexandre Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Pinto during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredo Pinto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Joaquim Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte Macedo in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Duarte Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joaquim Oliveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duarte Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Oliveira having to interfere. Mário Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Santos's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Joaquim Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Duarte Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Almeida during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Cristiano Amaral from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Joaquim Oliveira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Duarte Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Joaquim Oliveira made a huge save. Duarte Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joaquim Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Santos was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Santos in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Serta's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Santos came free, but Mário Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Serta got a freekick which was hit by Armando Maia. In the 65th match minute, Serta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Fernando Fernandes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mário Luz skillfully saved the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Serta fully deserved thier win.
