Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Inácio Trindade took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Garrido's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Castro came free, but Duarte Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cândido Rocha having to make a save. Manuel Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Emanuel Correia sent off a good shot on target. Garrido's Duarte Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Garrido from getting a goal against them. Manuel Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Inácio Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emanuel Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Garrido's goalkeeper Duarte Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Correia. The supporters of Garrido booed when Especande FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rodrigo Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrido's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inácio Trindade scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cândido Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Especande FC's Emanuel Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Garrido getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Afonso Tavares hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Inácio Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garrido and the Especande FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Inácio Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Castro was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Rodrigo Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrido's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Especande FC's Cândido Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Trindade in the 58th minute of play. Rodrigo Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Rocha having to interfere. The supporters of Garrido booed when Especande FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Especande FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Pinto. André Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Rodrigo Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Garrido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Cardoso couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, Inácio Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Castro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Duarte Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Especande FC. Duarte Aguiar came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Especande FC's Manuel Castro. But to his dismay, Manuel Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Garrido's Armindo Branco got a free kick in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Castro in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
