Carapacho's Raul Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cândido Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Especande FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
