Lucas Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Brás in the 12th minute. After 18 minutes, Francisco Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Paradamonte and the Levegada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Levegada FC booed when SC Paradamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adelino Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Humberto Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Freitas having to interfere. Humberto Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hélder Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes SC Paradamonte got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Faria. A collision led to Levegada FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nuno Santos hit a great ball. When Lucas Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the SC Paradamonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Dantas couldn't finish the play. Albertino Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Dantas's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Albertino Vieira made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Artur Brás sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Levegada FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Dantas was the one to do the kick off. When Gustavo Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Paradamonte's protests and gave Gustavo Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Levegada FC's Vítor Amorim tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eusébio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gustavo Fonseca hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Humberto Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Levegada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Cunha in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélder Freitas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 68 played minutes Levegada FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Pinheiro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Brás in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Levegada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Paradamonte booed when Levegada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, SC Paradamonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Antunes to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Adelino Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lucas Dantas struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Albertino Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Paradamonte. The supporters of Levegada FC booed when SC Paradamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SC Paradamonte fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Levegada FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
