Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Lexim's Cristóvão Tavares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Setúbal's late challenge caught a SC Campelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandre Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eusébio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Armando Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Leal in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Correia saved SC Lexim from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, SC Campelo's goalkeeper Eusébio Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Lima. In the 28th minute, Alexandre Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cristóvão Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lexim's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 minutes of play, SC Campelo's Eusébio Leal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cláudio Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cláudio Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Leal in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Leal in the 41st minute of play forced SC Lexim's goalkeeper Cláudio Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Miguel Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cláudio Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Neto in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half SC Campelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Miguel Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cláudio Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Lexim's Jaime Valente got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes, SC Campelo's Cristiano Paredes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cláudio Correia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Campelo reached it. Miguel Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miguel Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Leal got free with Cláudio Correia in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Anjos during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes SC Lexim got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Anjos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Simões in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Correia saved SC Lexim from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Alexandre Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eusébio Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusébio Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Correia having to interfere. A collision led to SC Campelo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Armando Neto hit a great ball. Eusébio Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Setúbal in the 85th minute of the match. Alexandre Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Pires having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Cláudio Correia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Miguel Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cláudio Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
