If Rui Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Amadeu Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Mondroes booed when Tronco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Tronco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Morais to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Soares in the 13th minute of the match. Eusébio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Armindo Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Tronco FC's Eusébio Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Guarda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, SC Mondroes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Henriques fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Soares in the 23rd minute of play forced Tronco FC's goalkeeper Paulo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tronco FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after SC Mondroes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Gonçalves took the corner. The corner led Tronco FC's David Gonçalves to fire away a dangerous shot which Armindo Guarda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eusébio Baptista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armindo Guarda. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. If André Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Armindo Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If André Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, André Henriques notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Mondroes's Armindo Guarda. Armindo Guarda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Soares in the 56th minute of play forced Tronco FC's goalkeeper Paulo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Alves stood somewhat misplaced when Rui Soares came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 60 minute. Paulo Alves made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Amadeu Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. If Eusébio Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cláudio Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Mondroes's protests and gave Cláudio Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tronco FC booed when SC Mondroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armindo Guarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Guarda having to interfere. Armindo Guarda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Baptista's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute André Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes SC Mondroes got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Ramos. André Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Mondroes's Cláudio Almeida got a free kick in the 80th minute. Amadeu Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Paulo Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Soares in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Mondroes's zone, Eusébio Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Guarda came out of the goal and Eusébio Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Armindo Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute Eusébio Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Tronco FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
