Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Sanceriz's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Aguiar came free, but Gustavo Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Catarino Nogueira having to make a save. Catarino Nogueira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexandre Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 67 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 75th minute of play forced Sanceriz's goalkeeper Gustavo Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Valdonas's Catarino Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Barros in the 95th minute of play.
