Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Gaspar during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basílio Gaspar hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Miguel Matias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brejao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmolfe the free kick. In the 7th minute, Miguel Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Nascimento got free with Cândido Setúbal in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Amaral having to interfere. When Brejao FC's Joaquim Brito in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esmolfe's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Brejao FC booed when Esmolfe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Brejao FC's Paulo Queirós broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Basílio Gaspar got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Brejao FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Basílio Gaspar hit a great ball. Cândido Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Basílio Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Brejao FC's Cândido Setúbal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Brejao FC from getting a goal against them. After 31 played minutes Esmolfe got a freekick which was hit by João Guerreiro. In the 31st minute Paulo Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Joaquim Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cândido Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Ricardo Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brejao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Joaquim Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Brejao FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Assis to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Torres got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lucas Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cândido Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Nascimento in the 62nd minute of play. If Ricardo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Esmolfe's Basílio Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brejao FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
