In the 4th minute of the match Filipe Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Gueifão skillfully saved the ball. Rodrigo Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Gaspar Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Neto having to interfere. Gonçalo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Lobel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, one of Asagaes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Asagaes. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Lobel FC. David Lisboa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Gueifão. 0-1. José Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Araújo in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Lobel FC's Óscar Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Gueifão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. José Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Lobel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Jesus came free, but Carlos Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Óscar Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gaspar Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asagaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when José Araújo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lobel FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Álvaro Assis hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Asagaes's Gonçalo Jesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Álvaro Assis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Armando Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobel FC. After having played for 61 minutes, Óscar Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Óscar Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delfim Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Lobel FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Assis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Sá in the 77th minute of play forced Lobel FC's goalkeeper Carlos Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Asagaes booed when Lobel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute José Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Asagaes's goalkeeper Armando Gueifão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Óscar Andrade. Asagaes's Armando Gueifão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Asagaes from getting a goal against them. Óscar Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Armando Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asagaes's goalkeeper Armando Gueifão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Lobel FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Asagaes throughout the match.
