Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Bandulha's Filipe Leiria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Veiga in the 9th minute of the match. Gil Lisboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Afonso Figueiredo's late challenge caught a SC Bandulha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Resouro getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Afonso Figueiredo hit a great ball. Xavier Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fernando Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Álvaro Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Figueiredo got free with Gil Lisboa in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes SC Bandulha got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Sousa. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Gil Lisboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gil Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Xavier Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fernando Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bandulha. In the 43rd minute Alfredo Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavier Setúbal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Paiva having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With 51 minutes on the clock, Rodrigo Barros commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 51st minute, one of Resouro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Resouro. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for SC Bandulha. Manuel Maia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Paiva. 0-1. Manuel Maia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Filipe Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Alfredo Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Maia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. Heitor Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Lisboa having to interfere. Heitor Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Heitor Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sebastião Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resouro's protests and gave Sebastião Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Sebastião Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Paiva made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Xavier Setúbal sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Heitor Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Resouro's Fernando Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Resouro from getting a goal against them.
