Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Moniz in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bandulha's goalkeeper Gil Lisboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th match minute, SC Bandulha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Melo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Francisco Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Lisboa was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Francisco Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Lisboa having to interfere. Manuel Maia's late challenge caught a Abrunheira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Maia helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Bandulha! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Abrunheira. Lúcio Gomes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gil Lisboa. 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, Abrunheira's Cristiano Moniz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Lisboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 played minutes Abrunheira got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Pinho. It was a brilliant solo performance by SC Bandulha's Bruno Melo when he shot the ball into the net to 1-2 in the 28th minute. Xavier Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Xavier Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, SC Bandulha's Filipe Leiria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Gil Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Abrunheira! Humberto Nunes had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Maia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gil Lisboa had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Francisco Teixeira from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gil Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Teixeira in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Cristiano Moniz made a precise shot to the right of Gil Lisboa. SC Bandulha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Cristiano Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Lisboa having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Abrunheira's Cristiano Moniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Lisboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Bandulha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lúcio Gomes was slow to take the kick. During this time Abrunheira's players had a chance to rest. Miguel Pinho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gil Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abrunheira's Francisco Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Cristiano Moniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Francisco Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Lisboa having to interfere. Gil Lisboa made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cristiano Moniz sent off a good shot on target. If Cristiano Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Leiria in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Nunes saved Abrunheira from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Xavier Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bandulha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Abrunheira could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Bandulha throughout the match.
