Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Santos in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Resende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingos Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingos Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Tiago Vaz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rui Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paredes in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Armada's Vítor Valente got a free kick in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Domingos Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Resende was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. José Paredes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Rui Leite skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Armada's Domingos Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Santos in the 78th minute of play. Américo Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Leite having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Armada's José Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiago Vaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Leite. Lamalonga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Américo Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Armada had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
