Luís Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rui Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lamalonga FC's Rui Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Lopes in the 30th minute of play. Hugo Santos struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Filipe Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lamalonga FC. Daniel Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Lamalonga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Cheiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Leite having to interfere. With a little luck, Lamalonga FC's Rui Leite got control of the ball when Luís Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Lopes was the one to do the kick off. Filipe Veiga made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Afonso Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute, Hugo Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute.
