Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Américo Fontes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Alfonge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Vieira to maneuver through the defense. José Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Cardoso having to interfere. João Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Alfonge FC's goalkeeper Abel Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Paredes. Domingos Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Borges in the 23rd minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Domingos Resende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vítor Valente fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armada's protests and gave Vítor Valente a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Valente hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Alfonge FC's António Faro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Armada. Domingos Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Simões in the 37th minute of the match. Américo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Abel Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Cardoso having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Alfonge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Fontes came free, but Abel Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, José Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

João Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, José Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armada's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If José Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
