Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Baralde FC's Ricardo Dantas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Morais in the 4th minute of play forced Baralde FC's goalkeeper Afonso Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Dantas in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Tavares in the 11th minute of play forced Baralde FC's goalkeeper Afonso Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Joaquim Morais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Henriques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Marco Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Baralde FC's Ricardo Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, André Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Rocha having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Tercena FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ricardo Dantas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Ricardo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Rocha having to interfere. Ricardo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Tercena FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Morais was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Baralde FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Matos. Tercena FC's André Santarém couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Baralde FC. Cândido Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Afonso Henriques made a huge save. Cândido Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Afonso Henriques skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Baralde FC's Afonso Henriques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Baralde FC from getting a goal against them. Tercena FC's Cândido Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Baralde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Cunha to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Tercena FC's André Santarém broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Joaquim Morais came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tercena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Morais couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tercena FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tercena FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
