Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abel Aleixo got the match started through his kick off. If Abel Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Cristiano Bessa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Creixomil FC the free kick. After 6 played minutes Sande got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Bessa. Abel Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Raul Leiria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creixomil FC. When Afonso Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sande's protests and gave Afonso Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Creixomil FC's Rui Borba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sande. When Rafael Matias came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Creixomil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Matias couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Cabral struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Filipe Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sande. Sande's Raul Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Moura in the 20th minute of play. André Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute André Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Aleixo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Leiria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Abel Aleixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Daniel Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sande and the Creixomil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Maia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Moura in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Leiria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Abel Aleixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Leiria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Cláudio Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Filipe Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Creixomil FC's Adelino Correia suffered a concussion in the 78th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Ricardo Gaspar's late challenge caught a Creixomil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sande's Ricardo Gaspar got a free kick in the 79th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Xavier Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raul Leiria, 0-2. Filipe Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Cabral in the 94th minute of the match. Creixomil FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
