Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ricardo Santarém started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Cunha hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. SC Capelinha's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 10th minute of the game, when Simão Araújo after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Pafarrao FC's goal. Simão Araújo was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 12th match minute, SC Capelinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Viegas to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes, Simão Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Capelinha and the Pafarrao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, one of SC Capelinha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Capelinha. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Pafarrao FC. Emílio Silva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Humberto Leite. 0-1. In the 19th minute, Eusébio Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Moutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 29 played minutes SC Capelinha got a freekick which was hit by José Dantas. Rodrigo Simões hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Pafarrao FC's Afonso Rocha in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Capelinha's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Santarém in the 35th minute of play forced Pafarrao FC's goalkeeper Francisco Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Simão Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Humberto Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Afonso Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Simão Andrade struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Humberto Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pafarrao FC. 60 minutes into the match, Adelino Abreu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pafarrao FC's Francisco Moutinho. Francisco Moutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adelino Abreu scored 2-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Moutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, SC Capelinha's Adelino Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Moutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SC Capelinha booed when Pafarrao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ricardo Santarém came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the SC Capelinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Santarém couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
